Deborah Whittenberger

Deborah Marie (Sauntry) Whittenberger, of Gibson Ga, passed away on Tuesday November 21st, 2023. Predeceased by her parents Eugene and Juanita (McKay) Sauntry, step-son Jack Whittenberger, and siblings Mary, Merlyn, Eugene, Olivia, Gladys, Frank, Michael, Vince,Jeannie, Pauline, Joe, John, and Raymond. Deb was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She spent her life working hard in public service, but her most important job was being a wife and mother. Family always came first for her. Deb is survived by her loving husband Richard, daughter Emily (Benji), and step-son Rick Jr. (Jen); grandchildren Dixie, Kolton, Trace, Nicholas, Connor, and Joshua; siblings Benny, Cecilia, Patricia, Rose, Jim, Ron, Robert, Peg, and Donna; best friend Therisa; and many nieces and nephews. Deb will be dearly missed by her friends and family. In lieu of lowers, please consider donating to the American Diabetes Association. Details for a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
