Augusta, GA. – Deborah Ann Jackson entered into rest July 14th, 2024 peacefully after a long battle with multiple health issues. Ms. Jackson was born and raised in New Jersey, moving to Augusta, Georgia in the late 1970s where she fell in love with area and had children and stayed to raise them. Ms. Jackson was a lover of the outdoors as her two favorite activities to do with her free time were fishing and spending time at the ocean. She also loved meeting and serving people, which she did throughout her career as one of the best waitresses in the local area for many years. For a few short years she was able to live out her dream of having her own restaurant when she operated North Leg Family Restaurant and for the rest of her life, she always ran into former customers who were greeted by her with a hug and smile. Ms. Jackson loved to spend time with her family and friends along with her little dog Boots who she loved so much. Ms. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Raymond DeFazio and Palma (Fuga) DeFazio; sister Geraldine Franklin and one brother Robert DeFazio. Survivors include one sister Joann Britt; a son Ralph Emerson Breshears IV.; a daughter, Amy Ann Breshears; grandchildren, Timothy G. Breshears, Tristan G. Hughes, Lily A. Holmes, and Leona A. Breshears and many nieces and nephews. The family of Ms. Jackson would like to give a special thank you to Mrs. Cindi Jenkins who was a loving best friend who provided such great support and the joy of friendship to her for many years. Cremation services are being done by Fairhaven Funeral Home, 3507 Wrightsboro Rd. Augusta GA 30909. Please note that the family will be holding a public celebration of life gathering at a later date and time in which family and friends can come and share memories of Ms. Deborah Jackson
