Dawn Marquette Mabli

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dawn Marquette Mabli, a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, who passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025, at the age of 42, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Marlton, New Jersey, Dawn built a warm and loving home in Trenton, SC, alongside her husband of 16 years, Kevin, and their cherished son, Jamie. Her love extended beyond her human family to their four-legged companions—Goldie, Daisy, Kallie, and Lil’ Bit—who brought her great joy. Dawn’s greatest happiness came from being with family and friends. She never missed an opportunity to celebrate their milestones, from baptisms and recitals to graduations, birthdays, and holidays. She treasured family traditions, including night walks on the beach, vacations in Maggie Valley, and attending concerts—especially those of her favorite artist, Pink. Whether she was singing along to her favorite songs or feeling the sand beneath her feet by the ocean, Dawn embraced every moment with passion and joy. She was known for her unwavering determination, standing strong in her beliefs until the very end. Dawn was preceded in death by her beloved parents, George and Arlene Mikula. She is survived by her loving husband, Kevin, their treasured son, Jamie, and her siblings, George (Leilani) Mikula and Donna (Hunter) Cunningham. Dawn took great pride in her role as an aunt, and her nieces Rebecca Mikula and Felicity Stanley and nephews George Henry and Raven Mikula, along with many other nieces and nephews, will always have a guardian angel watching over them, cheering them on from Heaven. Dawn’s family extends their deepest gratitude to everyone who has offered love and support during this difficult time. Your kindness has been a source of comfort and strength. A special thank you to the ICU nurses, Haley and Victoria, at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center for their compassion and personal care for Dawn and her family. A celebration of Dawn’s life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Heights Church, 4631 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Beech Island, SC 29842.
