David John Walden

David John Walden of Oglethorpe passed away on Sept 1. 2022. He passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on Feb 6, 1966, to John H Walden and Ernestine Kelley Walden. He moved to Oglethorpe with his family in 1978. He graduated with honors from Macon Co High school in 1984. He graduated from South Ga Technical College in 1985 with a degree in computer programming. In 1986 he married Pat Bellew and they had 1 son. He was the manager of Badcock Furniture in Montezuma for several years. He is survived by his son Dylan J. Walden, (Jordan), 3 grandchildren, Josey Clemens, Kohen Walden, Raven Walden, his longtime friends Travis (Pat) Dominey, Darrel Rye and David Hutchens. He will be remembered by many. A private service will be held at a later date.
