David Michael Dean

Mr. David Michael Dean, of Hephzibah, died on Thursday, October 11, 2012.He was 64 years old. Mr. Dean is survived by his wife, Jan B. Dean; his son, Chris Dean, and his wife Patricia, of Hartselle, Alabama, his daughter, Tammie K. Hooks, of Hephzibah, Georgia ; his sister, Linda Vest, and her husband Danny, of Hartselle, Alabama; his grandchildren, Audrey Dean, Jessi Scott, and Christopher Carl Hooks;his niece, Amy Vest King,and her husband Allen; great nephew, Wilson Clark King, and great niece, Maggie Beth King, all of Hartselle, Alabama.He was preceded in death by his parents, Byrd and Wetelka Clark Dean. Mr. Dean was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church.Prior to his retirement, he was a pipefitter for the Pipefitters Union, Local 377. Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery.Rev. Jim Hyder will officiate.A memorial service will be held at a later date in Hartselle, Alabama.
