Daoruang Orth

Daoruang Orth, 82 years of age, of Grovetown, GA passed away on December 7, 2022, in Grovetown, GA.  Mrs. Orth was born on December 17, 1939, in Khanchanaburi, Thailand (west of Bangkok, Thailand) to the late Thaeb and Chai Mordee.  She married Robert Orth Sr. on June 1, 1967, and became a US Citizen on February 10, 1971.  They were happily married for 23 years until his death in 1990.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Orth Sr. of Hephzibah, GA; her parents, Thaeb and Chai Mordee of Bangkok, Thailand; her in-laws Harry and Anna Orth of Adams, WI; and her sisters, Sumon Lurngsawat and Sayun Mordee of Bangkok, Thailand.

She is survived by her brother and his wife, Songvit and Siriyupa Mordee of Petchaburi, Thailand; her two sons and their wives, Edward and Satien Orth of Louisville, KY and Robert and Kim Orth of Grovetown, GA; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

As per her wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held.  She will be placed at rest next to her husband, Robert Orth Sr., at Bellevue Memorial Gardens in Grovetown, GA and her family will celebrate her life afterwards in private.  We invite you to make a donation to the National Scleroderma Foundation, in her honor, in lieu of sending flowers.
