After A lengthy Illness.Mr. Dalthard Taylor, 76. Loving father to Deborah K. Russo. Proud grandfather to His Marines Staff Sgt. Nicholas R. Russo andLance Cpl Harold James Hodgens. Mr. Taylor a native of Asheville, NC.was a Retired Sgt First Class from the U.S. Army of 22 years. He Served proudly during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He was also a Boat Capt. And a general contractor. Member of Grace Fellowship. He was lovingly cared for by his daughter Deborah and attended to by his best friend Johnny Hensley since 2001 in Augusta, Ga. He will be remembered for his enduring love for family, his devotion and gratefulness for Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his great sense of love, loyalty and honor for his country. Preceded in death by his son Dalthard William Taylor, Grandson Jonas Carrasco his parents Clyde V. Taylor and Ellen Sentells along with brothers and sisters Johnny, Vernon, Lloyd, Dwight, Louis, Ann, and Emogene. Is survived in order of their Birth by four children: Deborah Taylor Russo, Dalthard R. Taylor, Jr, Dianna M. Brentnell and Dedra E. Carrasco. Proud grandfather in order of birthto Caroline, Nicholas, Zackary, D Grant, Blair, James, Mark, Joseph and Justice, andEight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11: oo am at McNeill Funeral Home Rev. Roger Bennett officiating, Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with full military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
