Cynthia W. Eskew

Ms. Cynthia W. Eskew, 57, of Hephzibah, GA, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family. A lifelong resident of Augusta, she was the daughter of Donald Lee Whittaker and the late Mary Key Murphy. She enjoyed taking care of her pets. Her most precious time was spent with and caring for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Whittaker. In addition to her father, she is survived by he fiancé, Clifford Roye, children, Stephanie Judy, Martinez, GA, Rachel (Robert) Matthews, Hephzibah, GA, Heather Chancey and her fiancé, Michael Wilson, Augusta, GA, Larry Howell, Grovetown, GA, Brandon Lee Judy, St. Paul, MN, sister, Donna Griffin, Grovetown, GA, nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 2pm at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, GA, 30906. The family will receive friends from 1pm until the hour of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Children’s Hospital of GA.
