Craig William Guess

Craig William Guess, age 51, of Graniteville, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. A time of gathering and a memorial service will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the Savannah River Pavilion located on 3300 Evans to Locks Road, Martinez, GA. Born on August 16, 1970, he was the beloved son to the late Sarah B. Guess and the late Robert L. Guess, Sr. Craig leaves behind a son, William Guess; a sister, Twila (Sam) Kingsmore; a brother, Robert (Donna) Guess; nieces Ashley (Matt) Kern and Carolyn Barrett Guess; nephews Robbie (Karson) Guess and Whit Guess; and a great niece and nephew, Ellory and Corbin Kern. He also leaves behind a step mother, Tanya Guess and a step brother Robert (Emily) Fields and their daughter, Lily. Craig had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. He was blessed with a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. He enjoyed boating, fishing, all lake activities, and tinkering with cars and trucks. Craig graduated from North Augusta High School in 1989 and had a degree in Industrial Maintenance from Aiken Technical College. He was a member of the Local Ironworker Union #709 as an ironworker/welder. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
