Consuelo Montano Tirado

Biography Consuelo Montano Tirado, affectionately known as "Lita" to many of her family and friends, went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, August 28, 2013.She was originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico but moved to Augusta, GA in 1982 to be with her children and beloved grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marisol Alvarez, and leaves behind a son and daughter-in-law, Angel & Carmen Cardona of Katy, TX; four grandchildren: Amaris (& Jonathan) Phillips of Houston, TX, Vimarie (& Robert) Rudge of Katy, TX, Angie (& Roman) Civalero of Katy, TX, and Ricardo (& Lauryn) Cardona of Kyle, TX; and seven great-grandchildren:Gabriela & Ethan Phillips of Houston, Ryan & Zachary Rudge of Katy, and Kylie, Addison, & Emery Civalero of Katy.A devout Christian, Lita was a member of Oasis de Bendicion Church in Augusta and was a former member of Whole Life Ministries.The family will receive visitors on Friday, August 30th at Oasis de Bendicion Church, 3265 Deans Bridge, Road, Augusta from 5pm - 7pm. The funeral will be held at Oasis de Bendicion on Saturday, August 31st at 10am.She will be laid to rest at Westover Cemetery in Augusta following the funeral.
