Connie Stein, age 68, of Augusta, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Doctors Hospital. Connie was born September 5, 1946 in Columbia, TN., to the late Louis G. and Mary E. Brooks Pasvantis. She is survived by her husband, Mark Stein of Augusta; a son, Shane (Jean) Maddux of Augusta; a daughter, Angel (Mark) Wise of North Augusta, S. C.; a brother, George (Beverly) Pasvantis of Leeds, Al. and her caregiver, Crystal Mills.She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Family will receive friends Wednesday, December 17th, 1 pm to 2 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., HWY 25, Augusta, 30906, 706.798.8886, with services to follow at 2 pm with Pastor John Williams, officiating.
