Conni Lynn Ledford

Mrs. Conni Lynn Ledford Dental Hygienist. Evans, Ga. Conni Lynn Whitley Ledford 50 of Evans, Ga., went home to be with the Lord on July 19, 2014. Conni was born March 9, 1964 in Fort Payne, Alabama to Harold and Judy Whitley. She spent over 20 years as a dental assistant and hygienist. Conni was a ray of sunshine, always smiling. Never complained and always gave God the glory for whatever came her way. While her marriage to the love of her life was short it was some of the best times of her life. He babied and spoiled her from day one. She loved all the adventures he took her on. Conni graduated FPHS in 1982. She was a pee wee cheerleader, Brownie, Girl Scout and was in the band. She loved Alabama football, Country Music, square dancing and spending time with her friend’s special times with her family. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday July 27, 2014 at Fort Payne Church of God, 3521 Glenn Blvd. SW Fort Wayne, AL 35968. The famil will receive friends 1 hour prior to service. She is survived by her loving husband Bert Ledford, mother Judy Whitley, sister and brother-in-law Vanessia and Nick Fike, step daughters, Megan and Hannah Ledford, fur babies Bailey and Tucker, niece Melisa Escobar, special families the Ledford’s and Gibson’s, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Harold Whitley. A scholarship fund will be set up at First State Bank of DeKalb County for the “Conni Whitley Ledford Memorial”. This will be given to a High School Senior that has been affected by cancer.
