Clifton Sheldon Weathers

Clifton Sheldon Weathers, 94, loving husband of 72 years to Louise Britton Weathers, entered into rest December 22, 2021. Cliff was born on September 24, 1927 in Augusta, Georgia to the late Robert and Pearl Weathers, he worked for the Colonial Stores for 28 years as a Butcher, he joined his wife at Weathers Flowers and Gifts for 45 years. He was charter member of The Sanctuary. Long standing Chaplain for National Hills Lions Club. Addition survivors include his daughter Jumelle Weathers Daniel (Mikell); five grandchildren, Mikell Daniel, Rachael Reigle (Chris); Jessica Radford, Christina Radford and James Radford; eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his son, Robert Walters Weathers, one brother and seven sisters. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at The Sanctuary with Pastor Bryan Cockrell officiating at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm at the church. The family would like to thank Homestead Hospice and the staff at University Hospital Heart Vascular Tower for their kindness and care.
