Charlotte L. Heiden

Charlotte Heiden, a long-time resident of Irmo, South Carolina, died peacefully at Keysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Keysville, Georgia on September 15, 2022. She was born to the late Laverne and June Morse in Galesburg, Illinois. Charlotte is survived by three siblings, Maurice Morse; Fay Lynch of Covington, Indiana; Bonnie and Rollie Grauman of Galesburg, Illinois; Rosalee and Dan Neal of San Antonio, Texas; Five children, William and Georgia Hasselbacher of Hephzibah, Georgia; Jeff Hasselbacher and Renee Welch of Hutchison, Minnesota; Shelley Hasselbacher of Galesburg, Illinois; James Hasselbacher of Galesburg, Illinois; Eric and Sharon Heiden of Gilson, Illinois; ten grandchildren; fifth teen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren along with many adored niece, nephews, and cousins. Charlotte was preceded in death by Ashley Hasselbacher, granddaughter, and her beloved husband, Fred Heiden. Charlotte grew up in Galesburg, Illinois, she was a cheerleader; played softball and volleyball, she graduated from Galesburh High. She worked as an aerobics Instructor and held jobs at Admiral and Caterpillar. Charlotte was an avid gardener, loved to eat, laugh, talk and walk with her family and friends. She was a member of the Red Hat Club in Columbia, SC. She will be deeply missed by family, friends, colleagues and neighbors. Gifts may be made in lieu of flowers t the American Cancer Society
