Charlotte Ann Freeland

Charlotte Ann Maddox Freeland, of Grovetown Ga, entered into rest Saturday August 17th at home surrounded by her family. Charlotte was born June 24, 1951 in Augusta to the late Charles Timmons Maddox and Billie Rose. She was a retired Clerk from the DeKalb County Business License Office. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jerry Freeland of Atlanta and her favorite fur babies Maggie, Doc, Sherlock and Lucky. She is survived by two sons Robert Watkins (Sharon) of Evans and Carl Watkins, Jr (Niki) of Grovetown; sisters Lois Maddox of North Augusta, Casey Prew of Oklahoma; brother Charles Maddox of Augusta and grandchildren, Leanna Christensen of Washington D.C., Thomas Watkins of Grovetown, Sherry Christensen of Evans, Isabella Watkins and Gabriella Watkins of Grovetown, Charisma Rhodes of Atlanta, Lauren Davis and Taylor Davis of Evans. Charlotte’s memorial service will be held Saturday August 24, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Grove First Baptist Church in Grovetown GA with Rev Chris Brown officiating. The family would like to express special thanks to the staff at Alliance Hospice for the wonderful care and love shown to Charlotte.
