Charles (Chuck) Reinert

April 11, 1957 — April 17, 2022

Charles (Chuck) Reinert left this earth to be with our Lord and Savior on April 17, 2022. He was born on April 11, 1957, in Shirley Ma. Chuck lived with his family in Ohio until he was 12 then moved to Augusta Ga. He graduated from Butler High School in 1976. During his senior year of high school, he joined Aiken County Rescue Squad as a rescue diver, then worked as a paramedic for Aiken County EMS until 1982. He then went on to work as a paramedic for Wackenhut until he moved over to DuPont/Westinghouse SRS as HP manager. He was a Capt. in the Georgia Army National Guard Engineers from 1982-1992. He was a member of the Trenton Flyers and loved to fly his Ultralight for several years. Chuck had many talents to include 3D art, woodworking, artistry (he loved Bob Ross). Chuck made friends with everyone and could strike up a conversation with the most shy making them feel special. Chuck loved God, his family and friends. He was well known for cutting grass for many of his neighbors and started the Blue Porch lights in the neighborhood to support North Augusta Police Dept. He was a member of Big Steve’s Creek Baptist Church. Chuck leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Melanie Reinert, his sons Nick Reinert (Sarah), Chris Reinert, Foster Reinert, daughter Mya Reinert, sister Joan Knox (John), brothers Lew Reinert, Bruce Reinert (Billie), John Kuhn (Darlene), Todd Reinert, Jennifer Reinert Winge (Jason), grandchildren in Ohio and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his daughter Renate Reinert, parents Price and Irma Reinert.

A Celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at Big Steven’s Creek Baptist Church, 1850 W Martintown Rd, North Augusta, SC 29860 on Saturday April 23, 2022, at 2pm.
