Charles B Etterle

Charles B. Etterle, 80, entered into rest September 8, 2019 in Aiken, SC., husband of Vivian Collins Etterle. Charles was born in Augusta, and was a retired self-employed Insurance Claims Adjuster and served in the US Marines, he was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, helped Toys for Tots, President of Insurance Claims Association, Past President of the Augusta Jaycee’s, Board of Directors County Line Fire Department, and a member of River front Marines. He had a law degree from Augusta Law School. Additional survivors include his daughter Angie Etterle; brothers Derrial Etterle (Sandra); Walter Etterle (Kathy); sister Geraldine Etterle; two grandchildren, Abby & Lexi. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Elva James Etterle and several siblings. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 2:30 PM at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel, Grovetown, Georgia. With military honors.
