Charles (Buck) Franklin Clements, Jr.

Mr. Charles (Buck) Franklin Clements, Jr, 84, the son of the late Charles F Clements Sr and Myrtice Elizabeth Clements was born June 1, 1938, in Wilcox County, GA. He passed peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, August 24, 2022, to be home with the Lord. He attended the public school of Wilcox County. He gave his life to the Lord when he was about 5 years old at the Seville Baptist Church. He entered the United States Army at the age of 17 and served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars and was stationed in Germany and Philippines during his tenure.

After knowing her all his life, he was united in holy matrimony to Mary Lucy Cason, November 21, 1958.

He worked for civil service in Albany, GA and worked as a computer analyst. Then, he transferred to Fort Gordon, GA where he continued his career as well as instructed others. He retired from employment at this location in 1991.

He joins his family in heaven: his parents; one sister, Cheryl (Sis) (Ben) White; and one great-grandson, Luke Phillip Earnest.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife; one sister, Margaret Bounds of TN; two children, Stanley James Clements of Amelia Island FL and daughter, Sonya Jean (David Phillip) Earnest of Augusta GA; three grandsons and wives, Justin Charles (Johanna) Earnest, Benjamin Phillip (Rochelle) Earnest, and Robert Alexander (Kelsey) Earnest; great-children, Shawn David Nicholson, Joshua Ryan Harvey, Adam Jason Robert Harvey, and Elizabeth Sarah June Earnest; and many other family and friends.
