Charles E. Broome

Charles E. Broome, of Augusta, GA, passed away December 2, 2012, at the age of 58.He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Rosabelle Blackstone Broome; a brother, Frederick Roland Broome; a daughter, Nikki Broome. Charles was the owner/operator of Broome Plumbing and Electric Co. for years.He had a love for music and was a well-known musician in this area for over 40 years.He was also an instructor at Augusta Technical College having taught HVAC.He also was a Unit Specialist for Eli Lilly for several years. Charles is survived by his wife of 38 years, Robin (Marry); his children, Jennie (Chris) Donaldson of Woodstock, GA., and Chad (Tracie) Broome of Hephzibah, GA.; 4 grandchildren, Blaze Greene, Thomas and Camren Broome and Caleb Donaldson; one brother, Dr. Wesley (Maureen) Broome of Martinez, GA.He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
