David Charles Ackerson May 27, 1947 - August 26, 2023 Services will be on 2PM Sunday September 10, 2023 at East Side Baptist Church 3351 Wagner Rd, Aiken, SC 2980 visitation one hour prior to service . Dave has gone home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He leaves behind children: John Henry Ackerson, Michelle Trauthwein (Keith), Kim Stevens (Alan Cohen). Grandchildren: Payne David Ackerson (Melissa), Taylor Ackerson, Robbie Hoskins & Matthew Corder (Morgan), Josh Trauthwein (Alysia). Great grandchildren: Matthew & Charles David Ackerson, Violet & Lavender Ackerson, Toni, Bryce & Brenden Trauthwein. Brother Johnny Maddox and wife Char Hruska & "brother" Bobby Green. He also leaves behind many friends including Debi, Steve, Consuelo, Troy, Clifford, Rodney & "family" at East Side Baptist Church. Waiting to greet him are parents Alice (Welsh) and John Maddox, father Charles Ackerson, daughter Alicia Corder & grandson Jonathon Johnson, daughter-in-law Gidget Ackerson & friends Robert Pierson & Frank Johnson
