Catherine Mallery Conner

Martinez, GA. Catherine Mallery Conner, age 83, of Martinez, entered into rest Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at the residence of her daughter with all her family surrounding her. She was born February 12, 1932 in Altoona, PA., to the late Richard and Elizabeth Hemcher Mallery.She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, William Conner Jr.; her grandson, Ronald Carver II; her brothers Charlie, Fred and Richard, Jr.She worked in the lunch room at Sego Middle School in Augusta. She is survived by her 5 children; Cathy Dorsey of Belvedere, SC; Debbie (Lewis) Carver of Hephzibah, GA.; Linda Murphy and Fiancé’ Bobby Bisbee of Martinez; Billy (Wanda) Conner of Archer, FL.; David (Phyllis) Conner of Hephzibah, GA; 16 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Elwood, Bob, Ron, John, Betty, Patty, Judy and Sandy. Family will receive friends Monday 6 pm to 8 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd, HWY 25, Augusta, 30906, 706.798.8886. Funeral services will be Tuesday 11 am at the funeral home with Chaplain Tom Kalliokoski, officiating.Burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
