Carole Workman

Carole Taylor Workman, age 76, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 1, 2018. She was born March 19, 1942 in Saltville, VA to Arthur and Jenny (Bordwine) Taylor. A graduate of R.B. Worthy High School, she went on to work for Olin Corporation until her retirement. Carole was most happy with the simple pleasures in life: spending time with her family and friends, camping and tending to her flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Jenny Taylor; her husband, James Workman; her sister, Jeral Davis; and her brother, Harold Taylor. She is survived by her daughter, Jamie (Lyn) Workman Ramp, her sister, Linda Hart; brother-in-law, Ronnie Davis; five nieces and nephews and five grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to McNeill Funeral Home from 6-8 PM on Thursday, July 5. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, July 6 at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
