Carl F. Baxley Iii

Carl F. Baxley III, 76, of Hephzibah, Ga. died peacefully at his home on Friday, December 1, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl F. Baxley Jr. and Gertrude "Trudy" Pettis Baxley. He is also preceded in death by his son, Todd Lee and Wesley Kyle Baxley, also his sisters, Judy White and Barbara Leon. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Pamela G. Baxley, son Blaine Baxley (Courtney) of Milledgeville, daughter LeAnne Baxley of Hephzibah, his grandchildren Bryce Baxley, Annaleigh Sleister and Brennan Sleister of Hephzibah, as well as his sister Brenda Mitchell and brother-in-law Tommy White. Carl was a retired paint contractor for over 50 years. He loved his family and spending time at the lake. The family will have a private Celebration of Life at the family's home on Saturday, December 9, 2023. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
