Carey Moon

Carey W. Moon, age 58, of Augusta, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father, Hillman E. Moon. He is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Bruce) Sinclair of Lexington, SC; one granddaughter, Madison; his mother, Laura (Jim) Jimenez of Hephzibah, GA: 2 sisters, Barbara J. Carter of Clarks Hill, GA and Laura (Roy) Morris of Wrens, GA; 2 brothers, Michael (Joyce) Moon of Waynesboro, GA., and David Moon of North Augusta, SC.He is also survived by 8 step brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday from 12 pm to 1 pm at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, GA., 30906, 706.798.8886, with a Memorial Service to follow at 1 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
