Carden Dillard "Cd" Bowman

Carden Dillard “CD” Bowman, 86, entered into rest March 5, 2018, husband of the late Ruth Bowman. CD a native of Augusta was owner of Bowman Lock and Safe, a member of Martinez Baptist Church where he was a deacon, and a life member of the VFW 649, served in the US Navy. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Martinez Baptist Church with Revered Phillip Winsett officiating, burial with military honors will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be, Mike Joye, Steve Weekly, Derrick Young, Randy Card, Ronnie Card and Richard Card. Honorary Pallbearer will be his great grandson, Jerod Ellison. He is survived by his daughter, Joni Bowman (Michael); three grandchildren, Christine Ellison, Carla Taylor and Lisa Tollison, Six great grandchildren and one great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Martinez Baptist Church, Thursday from 6:00-8:00 pm.
