Biography Mrs. Candacy A. Rachels Retired King Mill Franklin, GA entered into rest August 12, 2013 at her residence Mrs. Candacy Attaway Rachels wife of the late Mr. James B. Rachels. Mrs. Rachels was born in Tattnall County Georgia and spent most of her life in Augusta and the past 21 years in Franklin, Ga. She was retired from the King Mill and a member of New Hope Worship Center. Funeral services will be conducted Today (Thursday) at 12:00 noon at New Hope Worship Center with Pastor Rich Bowen officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 to time of service on Thursday. She is survived by one daughter, Christine Nolley, Franklin, Ga. Seven grandchildren. Several Great and Great Great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two sons, James R. and Gaylon M. Rachels. Please make memorial contributions to New Hope Worship Center 715 S. Old Belair Rd.
