Bruce Mckinney

It is with profound sadness that our family shares passing of our beloved SSG Bruce McKinney. He left us at age 69 surrounded by family on February 11, 2025 at Wellstar MCG, Augusta GA. During August 1974, Bruce joined the United States Army and served until being honorably discharged during December 1994. While on active duty; Bruce received the following military awards: -Army Achievement Medal -Army Good Conduct Medal -National Defense Service Medal -Southwest Asia Service Medal -Kuwait Liberation Service Medal Bruce loved fishkeeping, a hobby for the appreciation and fascination of marine life. Bruce is survived by Valerie, his wife, Bryant (Pearl) Shepard, his uncle; Reginald, his brother; Wendell (Carolyn) and Adam, his brothers-in-law; Melanie and Alexis, his sisters -in-law; Donato, (Tamika); Damien, LaPhonso, Omar, and Reginald, Jr. his nephews. Alexis, Deja (Antoine), and Sierra, his nieces. Josef, Christopher, Tiffany (Maurice II), and Sabrina, his children. Jasmine, Bryce, Zoe, Maurice III, and Johanni, his grandchildren. Host of great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death, Charles and Ruby, his parents; Valerie Ann, his sister; and Charles and Larry, his brothers. We will always carry your memory in our hearts
