Brian Vyhnal

Brian Francis Vyhnal was born on April 17, 1968, and passed from this world on August 20, 2023 in an unfortunate and tragic accident. He was born and adopted by wonderful parents in Illinois, but grew up in Huntsville, AL. He graduated from Grissom High school in 1986 and briefly attended his beloved Auburn University before finishing his degree in Biology in 1992 at CSU San Bernardino, where he was a member of Delta Sigma Phi- Eta Beta chapter. He worked in blood/plasma services for many years, having a passion for helping others. Brian never met a stranger, and collected friends everywhere he went. He was known for his sense of humor and his willingness to help others. He loved making nicknames for everyone, especially the kids. His most cherished role was that of father and pop-pop to his grandchildren. His parents Richard and Patricia Vyhnal precede Brian in death. He is survived by his daughter Brittany, son Aaron and stepson Eric. Grandsons Lorenzo, Vincenzo and Kage, and granddaughter Aaliyah. Wife Rita, sister Pamela, and many nieces and nephews. Brian had recently connected with his birth father, Michael Rayfield and found four more sisters; Michelle, Andrea, Katherine and Casey, and though it was short, his time with them was treasured. He also had two biological sisters on his maternal side. He said he swam in a sea of sisters. He is now at peace, and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by family and friends. A simple memorial will be held at McNeill Funeral Home ,Wrightsboro Rd, Augusta to be announced.
