Brian Philip Hatcher

Brian Philip Hatcher entered into rest on June 14,2024 at his home in Thomson, GA. He was born on February 28,1959 to Edwin “Pete” Hatcher and Nowana Hamm Hatcher in Augusta, GA. Through the years, Brian and Diana enjoyed many trips to their happy place of Tybee Island in Savannah GA. Brian enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing and had many stories to tell. Brian graduated from Augusta Technical College with an Associate of Electrical Engineering and retired from Southern Beverage as a Quality Control Manager. Brian is survived by his wife of 44 years, Diana Lynn (Wells) Hatcher, his only daughter Kara Lynn (Kevin) Hawkins; his grandsons SGT Tyler Barry (Catherine) Hawkins and Cory Brett (Arnesha) Hawkins; his granddaughter Angel Lee (D’Artagnan) Jacobson; his just born great-granddaughter Rose Lynn Jacobson; brothers Barry ( Melany) Hatcher and Daniel (Sheryl) Hatcher; sister-in-laws Linda (Donald) Hair and Cheryl Wells and many nieces and nephews. Brian was preceded in death by his only son, SPC. Phillip Brian Hatcher; grandson Zachary Ryan Hawkins, parents Edwin “Pete” and Nowana Hamm Hatcher; sister Janet Hatcher Stacks and brother Edwin Bruce Hatcher. Brian's wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service when both he and Diana are together again. Memorials may be made in his honor to any veteran organization in the memory of his son Phillip Brian Hatcher or to St. Judes Cancer Research. Daddy, I love you and I hope you found your peace.
