Brent Christopher Ponik

Brent Christopher Ponik, 40, The Man, The Myth, The Legend and loving husband of Maria Coggins Ponik, entered into rest February 27, 2021. Brent was born in Richland, WA on July 30, 1980. He spent most of his life in North Augusta, SC before recently moving to Harlem, GA. Brent received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Augusta State University and worked for Augusta Industrial Services in Augusta, GA. He was an avid motorcycle rider and enthusiast that loved spending his early mornings at the gym and will forever be remembered for his amazing sense of humor and ability to make anyone laugh. Brent had an extensive movie and music collection and could quote any line or sing any chorus you challenged him to. Brent and his family attended Journey Community Church. Brent is preceded in death by his mother Marta Alonzo Ponik. He is survived by his adoring and devoted wife Maria Coggins Ponik and their six children; sons Dylan Ponik, Daniel Wandless Jr., William Wandless; daughters, Victoria Lynch, Sabrina Lynch, MacLaine Wandless; father Randall W. Ponik (Kym); sister, Christy Ponik Stafford (Jay); nephew Caden Odom. Honorary Pallbearers will be AIS employees A celebration of life is to be held on March 13, 2021 at Journey Community Church, 4798 Hardy McManus Rd, Evans, GA 30809 at 1:00 p.m. There will be a graveside service immediately following at Pineview Memorial Gardens, 450 W Five Notch Rd.
