Augusta, GA. Brenda B. Joyner, age 72, of Augusta, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at University Hospital with her family by her side. She was born November 29, 1942 in Augusta, GA., to the late Willie and Viola Anthony Babb.She was preceded in death by one sister, Margie Baston.Brenda’s love for her family will be everlasting. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Marion (Moe) Joyner; her children, Michael (Pam) Joyner of Augusta; Chris (Tracy) Joyner of Keysville; Kevin (Kelly) Joyner of Augusta;her loving grandchildren, Christy (Ryan) McArdle, Casey (Cody) Cozart, Chase Joyner, Cameron Joyner, Justin Hilliard, Kolby Joyner, Kaleb Joyner and Katie Grace Joyner;2 great grandchildren, Deacon and O’Brien Rose McArdle. Family will receive friends Friday 6 pm to 8 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., HWY 25, Augusta, 30906.Services will be Saturday 10 am at the funeral home with Mr. Gene Hollins, officiating. Burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.Pallbearers will be Steve Joyner, Chad Mallis, Travis Griffin, Jeff Briele, Mack Reeves and Tommy Whitener.
