Bonnie Evans Vandergrift Mrs. Bonnie Vandergrift, of Hephzibah, died on Friday, June 18, 2010.She was 51 years old. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 21, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The funeral service will follow the visitation on Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.Committal services will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.Rev. Greg Glover will officiate. Survivors include her husband of more than 32 years, Ronald Vandegrift; her siblings, Avinell DiLorenzo of Lincolnton, Catherine Dubiel of Batesburg, South Carolina, Earl Evans, Lisa Albright, both of Hephzibah, Ramona Slattery of Binghamton, New York, Donald Evans of Dearing, Linda Ellerbee of Wrens, Tina Elliott of Aiken, Brian Evans of Augusta, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Aaron Todd Vandegrift, in 1978, and by her parents, Earl and Marie Evans.
