Bobby Middlebrook

Hephzibah, GA. Bobby Middlebrook, Sr., of Hephzibah, 84, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015, at his residence with his family surrounding him. He was born November 28, 1930, in Bellaire, OH., to the late Roger and Lena (Helen) Middlebrook.He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Gilmore Middlebrook; a sister, Joanne Adams and a brother, Tommy Middlebrook. He retired for the U. S. Army after 23 years of service. He is survived by his children; Bobby, Jr. of Hephzibah, Cynthia Wilkins of Augusta, Debbie Kenly of Hephzibah, Linda Johnson of Hephzibah, Charlena Graham of Hephzibah, Sharon Middlebrook of Hephzibah and Katina Mathis of Augusta; 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday 6 pm to 8 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., Augusta, 30906, 706.798.8886. Home Going Services will be Saturday 1 pm at the funeral home with Linda Johnson, officiating.Burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Full Military Honors.
