Mr. Kitchens a native of Savannah, Ga. lived most of his life in the Augusta area. He was a Baptist worker at Avondale mills. Survivors include his mother, Gaynell Kitchens, Gloverville, SC one son, Scott B. Kitchens, two brothers Larry Kitchens (Anna) Martinez, Ga. Leroy Kitchens, Jr., Gloverville, SC Memorial services will be conducted today at 11:00 am at McNeill Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Scott officiating. Interment will be private at a later date.
