Bobby J. Carroll Jr.

Bobby J. Carroll, Jr., age 66, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Bobby was born in Augusta Ga. to the late Bobby Carroll, Sr. and the late Rachel Carroll. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Essie Stone Hazel, Clint Stone, Mary Carroll, and Roy Carroll. Survivors include his sister, Beth White (Ronnie), his sister, Regina Pruitt (Edison), and his brother, Clint Carroll. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. Bobby was born mentally handicapped and was a resident of Central State Hospital in Milledgeville Ga. and then Gracewood State School and Hospital in Augusta, Ga. until its closing. He then lived in a group home with other residents and loving caretakers until his passing. Bobby loved the simple things in life such as music, good food, and going on adventures with friends and family. He has now been made whole in the presence of God and is enjoying eternity with his parents and grandparents. A private burial will be held at a later date.
