Bobbie Z. Mccorkle

Appling, GA. Mrs. Bobbie Z. McCorkle, 64, wife of the late Mr. Billy Joe McCorkle, entered into rest on Sunday, June 26th, 2016. Mrs. McCorkle was a life-long resident of the Augusta/Appling area, where she spent her time working as a homemaker and was a member of Dunns Chapel UMC. She is survived by her son, Raymond Lee Wilson; daughters, Carla McCorkle and Dawn Scott; brother, Skip Ward (Jane); nieces, Angie Rawlins, Michelle Farr, Leslie Blair, Brenda Taylor, Shauna Ward, Stephanie Ward, Christy Kinsey; and Hope Hodge; nephews, Gary Crowley, Mike Fox, Zane Ward, and Trent Williams; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Zane Grey Ward and Mrs. Bobbie June Ward and sisters, Linda Porch and Jackie Herrington. A private celebration of life will be held.
