Mrs. Betty H. Winkler Retired J.C. Penney’s McCormick, SC entered into rest November 19, 2014 at GRU Medical Center, Augusta, Ga. Mrs. Betty Hatfield Winker wife of the late James H. Winkler, DDS. Mrs. Winkler a native of Indianapolis, Indiana had lived in Ohio until moving to McCormick, SC @ Savannah Lakes Village Community in 1995 she was a Presbyterian and retired from J.C. Penney’s as an interior designer. She was a member of American Contract Bridge League and Savannah Lakes Women’s Golf League 9 hole group. A memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Savannah Lakes Village Recreational Center in the McCormick Room. Survivors include her son, Thomas James Winkler, Lima, OH. daughters, Anne Winkler Katzer, McCormick, SC; Jean Winkler Coburn, Salt Lake City, Utah; brother, Robert E. Hatfield, Bell Fountain, OH; Four grandchildren; Tyler & James Coburn and Emily & Derrick Katzner. Preceding her in death are her parents, Earl and Ruth Anna Williams Hatfield and her brother, Richard Hatfield. Memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army or the Sandy Branch Fire Dept.
