Betty Ann Reese

Mrs. Betty Ann Reese of North Augusta, South Carolina passed away on May 7, 2023. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on May 1, 1930. She was preceded in death by her parents Lydia and John Carpenter, brother Bill Carpenter, husband of 69 years William Andrew Reese in March 2020, and by her eldest son Robert Scott Reese in August 2022. Betty is survived by her adoring son, William Gregory Reese, daughters-in-law Lisa and Brenda, grandsons Ben, Andy, Ian, Daniel, Nicholas, and Matthew, nephew Chris Lawson, and niece Cindy McCormack. Betty was a devoted wife and mother who graduated 2nd in her high school class, enjoyed playing tennis, reading, and crossword puzzles. She had many friends throughout Aiken, SC and beyond and through First Baptist Church of Aiken. Outside her primary commitment to her family, her dream job was to be a librarian. We pray that God has a library in heaven. 😊 Friends and family will be notified if a memorial service will be conducted at a later time.
