Bernard William Harper, born on April 16, 1959, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2024, in Augusta, Georgia. The beloved son of Bernard and Ann Harper, Bernard grew up alongside his three brothers, John, Thomas, and Donald. He shared a remarkable 36-year marriage with his devoted wife, Pamela Harper. Together, they built a loving family that includes their son, Bernard Carl Harper, daughter-in-law Carlie Harper, and four cherished grandchildren: Mantle, Alex, Rosalynn, and Bernard Winston. Bernard was widely admired for his generosity and unwavering commitment to helping those in need. His deep love for his wife was an inspiration to many who witnessed their bond. Above all else, he valued family and dedicated his life to nurturing the relationships that meant the most to him. His presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service to honor Bernard’s life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Hephzibah Baptist Church in Hephzibah, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research or to a GoFundMe campaign established to assist Pamela with end-of-life expenses.
