Bernard John Burawski

Hephzibah, GA. Bernard John Burawski, age 79, of Hephzibah, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015. He was born August 14, 1936 in Wilkes Barre, PA., to the late Frank and Ana Gluchowski Burawski.He retired from the U. S. Army and was a Police Officer for the VA Medical Centers in Augusta. He is survived by his wife Ingeborg Perlberg Burawski of the home; 1 son, Michael Burawski of Marietta, GA and 2 daughter, Patricia Ann Kingman of California and Michelle Burawski of Hephzibah, GA.; 3 grandchildren.He is also survived by brothers and sisters. Family will receive friends Monday 3 pm to 4 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., HWY 25, Augusta, 30906, with services to follow at 4 pm with full military honors being rendered. Burial will be in Milledgeville Veterans Cemetery.
