Mr. Baxter “Brack” Long Augusta, Georgia Mr. Baxter Long of Augusta went to be with the Lord on November, 20, 2010. He was 77 years old. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 21, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. The funeral service will be conducted Monday, November 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Dr. Ronald Hasty will officiate the service. A private memorial service will be held at a later date Mr. Baxter Long is survived by his loving wife, Maxine Long of Augusta, sons, Doug Long and his wife, Teresa of Trenton, SC, Terry Henderson and his wife, Marcia of Jacksonville, Fl, Keith Rash and his wife, Lori of Statesville, NC, Allen Henderson of Florence, SC, Randy Henderson of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Johnny Long and his wife, Gladys of Highpoint, NC; sister, Evelyn Butts of Conway, SC; grandchildren, Megan Henderson, Christopher D. Henderson, Kathryn Porwoll, Dana Long, Krystal Long, Danielle Long, Brandon Henderson, Heather N. Henderson, Christopher R. Henderson, Lindsey Henderson, Heather Henderson, Tiffany Henderson, A. C. Henderson, Teresa Graham, Bradley Rash, Justin Rash; great-grandchildren, Chloe Marie Perrin, Rydley Houston Andrews and Hannah Graham. Mr. Long was a retired electrician; he enjoyed a military career of 22 years, and he was a Master Mason of Conway, SC Lodge 381.
