Barbara Jean Mccreary

Mrs. Barbara Jean McCreary Augusta, GA. Mrs. Barbara Jean McCreary, 74, wife of the late Jimmy Garfield McCreary, entered into rest on Saturday, March 19th, 2016. She was a native of Augusta, where she spent her life as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also a faithful Jehovah’s Witness and attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Augusta East and Thomas Woods. She leaves behind her sons, James Sean McCreary (Dorothy) and Chad Emanuel McCreary (Tequilla); daughters, Antoinette Nelvina Lopez, Robin Marie McCreary, Sonia Lee Jones (Mike), and Dana Willette Lilly (Samuel); sixteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is also preceded in death by her mother, Ms. Willie Mae Jackson. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 26th at 1:30 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Augusta East and Thomas Woods (2460 Golden Camp Rd., Augusta, GA 30906), with speaker Mike Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Augusta East and Thomas Woods.
