Barbara Jean Gardner

Barbara Jean Gardner, 85, entered into rest at her residence May 22, 2021, wife of the late Robert T. Gardner. Barbara was born in Sardis, Georgia and lived in the Martinez area for the past 50 years, she was a member of Marvin United Methodist Church and a homemaker. Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Yockey (James), grandson, Steven Yockey, brother, Billy Fitzgerald and sisters, Patricia Griffin, Joyce Fincher and Debra Fitzgerald. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Garnet Fitzgerald, Jr., and Laura Inita Coughlin Fitzgerald, brothers, Albert, David, Danny, Steve, and Horace Fitzgerald and sister, Rita Rupp. Barbara wishes was to be cremated and no services to be held.
