Barbara M. Elmy

Barbara M. Elmy 91, wife of the late George W. Elmy entered into rest on Friday June 29, 2018 at her residence. A memorial mass will be held 10 AM Tuesday July 3, 2018 at St. Luke’s Anglican Catholic Church, 3081-Wheeler Road, Augusta with Father Daniel Trout, officiant. Inurnment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. She was an Army wife for 25 years and a dress and costume designer. Survivors include her children George W. (Karen) Elmy , Jr. , Janice E. Elmy, Gilbert A. (Robin) Elmy , Richard R. (Deb) Elmy, Franda M. Herndon, Marshall O. (Karen) Elmy , Mary-Ruth E. (Tony) Sangregorio, Barbara A. (Tim) Bower; daughter-in-law Kim Elmy ; brother Dale R.Culver; ;21 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Frederick Elmy, a brother Donald Culver; son-in-law Frank Herndon; sisters-in-law Jeannie Culver and Andrea Culver and a grandson Frankie Elmy. In lieu of flowers memorials to be made to St. Luke’s Anglican Catholic Church.
