Barbara Jean Cooksey

Barbara Jean Cooksey, beloved wife of the late Marlin Gail Cooksey entered into rest on Saturday April 8, 2017 at Trinity Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2PM Tuesday April 11, 2017 at Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta with Pastor Ronnie Faircloth officiating.She was an avid member of the Red Hat Society. Survivors include sons-and-daughter-in-law Barry dean Cooksey, Tommy Charleston (Pam) Cooksey, Sr.; daughter Marla Gail Cooksey; six grandchildren Tommy Jr., James, Crystal, Brad, Amanda and Lilly; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Monday evening at the funeral home.
