Augustine Statham Quinn, Iii

Augustine “Sonny” Statham Quinn, III., 74, entered into rest November 22, 2019 at University Hospital Summerville. Husband of Melody Houghton Quinn. Sonny a native of Charleston, SC lived most of his life in the Augusta are where he was a Counselor for Augusta State Medical Prison and a member of Martinez Baptist Church. A veteran of the US Air Force. Additional survivors include his daughters, Emily Quinn Johns (Chip); Laura Macdonald (Kevin); brother, Bill Quinn (Christy). Four grandchildren, Brice, Hailey and Carolyn and the late Rob. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 11:00 am at Martinez Baptist Church with Reverend Philip A. Winsett officiating. The family will receive friends at the church starting at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to the American Cancer Society.
