Arthur William Mooney "Billy"

Arthur William Mooney "Billy" of Waynesboro Ga. peacefully passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on September 25,2023. Mr. Mooney was born in Augusta Ga. on January 30,1950. He retired from the Industrial framing and sheetrock business. He was a patient and humble man who loved his family dearly. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. Margie s. Mooney and John U. Mooney of Augusta. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Johnny Mooney and Ronnie Mooney. He is survived by his brothers Fred Mooney and Robert Mooney. His two daughters Doris R. Counts and Marion Mooney Price, his adopted son Joseph Mooney, his son in law Steve Price, sisters-in-law Dee Mooney, Ann Mooney and Julie Mooney. He called Julie his angel. Julie took care of Mr. Mooney alongside his two daughters. He was loved by his seven grandchildren Nathan William Davis, Johnathan R. Davis, Roni Maree Davis, Stephen Price, Jesse Price (Stephanie), Hunter Price (Elizabeth), and Hope Price. He will be missed by his seven Great grandchildren Bjorn Price, Colton Price, Cole Spoonemore, Jayden Davis, Michael Davis, Mckenzie Davis and Madilynn Davis. Along with several nieces and nephews. The family will have a private viewing for immediate family only. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you send any donations to New Beginning in Christ Garfield Ga. Mr. Mooney was fond of this organization.
