Arthur Bentley, Jr.

Arthur Bentley Jr., 78, husband of the late Martha Morgan Bentley, entered into rest on February 22nd, 2021. Arthur was born on January 17th, 1943 in Augusta, Georgia to his parents. Arthur spent his life in Augusta where he was a self-employed Building Contractor and member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Lee Bentley (Carolyn), and Arthur Bentley III (Nicole), five daughters, Rosemary Bentley, Carole Parker (Kenneth), Linda Bentley, Dorothy Sharpton (Shelby), Tameka Jordan (Steve), brother, Bruce Mckie (Sherry), a host of Grandchildren , Great Grandchildren, cousins, Aunts, and Uncles. Arthur is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Bentley Sr., and Rosa Johnson Bentley, and son, Eugene Bentley. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, February 27th, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Savannah Rapids Pavilion with Reverend John Lockhart officiating.
