Mr. Arnold Earl Schwindt Though your earthly journey has ended your heavenly one has just begun.Your Lord has received you into his open arms and there is much comfort in the loved ones left behind in knowing that you are with your heavenly father and no longer suffering in your earthly body.We will remember and miss you dearly. Beloved husband of 57 years to Maritza Perdomo Schwindt entered into eternal rest Tuesday, October 08, 2013. Arnold was born to Arnold Otto and Adelinea Mary Ross Schwindt in Detroit, Michigan on January 01, 1936. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, EarnestBrown and son Mark A. Schwindt. As a true patriot, he served our country in both the Navy and the Air Force as an Electronic Technician being stationed multiple years in the Panama, Canal Zone.Arnold remained devoted to helping others through acts of loving kindness throughout his life. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister Mrs. Diana (Paul) Lawson of Lewisville, TX, by daughter, Cherri Maxey-Schwindt, his 3 sons, Scott (Donna) Schwindt,Brian Schwindt and Patrick Schwindt all of Augusta and son-in-law, Roy Cowin, Atlanta; 10 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren and numerous family and friends. A small memorial service will be held at Piney Grove Baptist Church, 5060 Mike Padgett Hwy., Augusta, GA 30906 on October 19, 2013 at 1:00 pm. The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice and McNeill Funeral Home for their loving care and support.
