Mrs. Owens was born August 30, 1932 in Camden, South Carolina.She was married to the late Henry Lester Owens. Mrs. Owens was a homemaker. Mrs. Owens is survived by her daughters, Sarah (Butch) Martin, Liz (Richard) Osborne, Ellen Chavous, Blondell Morgan, and Kathryn (Vince) James; twenty grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Poteet Funeral Home Chapel, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta with Pastor Russell Folger officiating.The burial services will follow at Hephzibah Vance Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Billy Cleveland II, Billy Cleveland III, Julian Martin, Jr., Joshua Pope, Bridgit Cleveland, and Randy Kirkpatrick.
